B.Mingled Holiday "Sip & Sing"

This past Friday, B.Mingled Weddings and Events hosted it's first ever Holiday Sip and Sing! What is a Sip and Sing you might ask??.....only one of the most enjoyable ways to ring in the holiday season with friends and family. As a singer, I have always been accustomed to going to events where singing and performing are involved, but fear not, having a music background is certainly not required to throw this creative event. All you need is a festive space, some scrumptious appetizers, a group of your closest friends and family, and a collection of your favorite holiday music.

My friends know that I am a Christmas decoration junkie, but for this event I wanted to incorporate a one of a kind centerpiece created by our fabulous floral designer, Srisurang Opena. She created her own artistic interpretation of a Christmas package utilizing fresh florals. The piece was absolutely stunning and truly added that extra holiday flare.

For the party food, I spent hours researching easy, delicious, and festive appetizers on the one and only Pinterest. As always, Pinterest did not disappoint :). All of the food disappeared before the end of the night-always a sign of a well selected dish.

Below are some of the simple appetizers and desserts that I prepared:

Classic Sugar Cookies (this recipe has been in my family for years, sorry I can't share, its a secret). :)

The last things you will need to throw your own Holiday Sip and Sing are an assortment of beverages for your guests and some holiday tunes. Maybe you have a musician friend who can play the piano or guitar, maybe you can play the bells, if not, I always rely on YouTube for a wide selection of Holiday Karaoke- this will absolutely be an entertaining evening.

Wishing you a safe and happy holiday,

Ashly
