Friday – Cake topper

  

Today I want to share our design twist on a wooden peg "couple" used as a wedding cake topper.

While I was looking for inspiration for our Eco-Chic Wedding Photoshoot for http://www.thedcladies.com/ , I found a couple of old doilies that I crochet years ago and decided to use them to create this beautiful dress for our peg bride.

We chose to replace the fancy cake with delicious artisan pie from Mom's Apple Pie http://www.momsapplepieco.com/. 

This simple topper was the perfect choice for our event, as it incorporated the recycling, reusing and repurposing idea.
